Amancay Ledezma is an LCSW who provides therapy for adolescents, adults and couples. Amancay completed her BA in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University Northridge and received her MSW from the University of Southern California.
Amancay believes in life-long learning and recognizes that in absence of learning, growth cannot happen. She values this dynamic in a therapeutic relationship, as it creates accountability and a willingness to seek out that personal growth.
Amancay embraces an individualized approach, focused on the needs and desired outcomes of each client. She is trained in specialized intervention strategies, such as; dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and internal family systems therapy, allowing her to personalize her sessions based on skills or emergent patterns of needs. This acute attention to detail supports clients in being their best selves, and work towards the lives they want to live.
A pillar of belief that Amancay holds is that her clients are the experts in their own lives. She practices profound respect for all that they may bring with them into their sessions. This contributes to a safe and empowering space for everyone who walks through her door.
