Dr. Michelle Shuff is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Psychology at the University of California at San Diego. She then completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of California at San Francisco. Additionally she obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Shuff finished her medical training to pursue psychiatry at UCLA. She spent her first year at Harbor UCLA General Hospital in Torrance, and then the last 3 years at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Westwood. She completed her Residency in 2014.
She has been involved medical research, medical activism and has held several leadership roles. Since graduation she has worked in settings with severe mental illness and patients who have treatment-resistant illness. These experiences have helped Dr. Shuff excel at Psychopharmacology as she has extensive knowledge using a variety of medications.
Dr. Shuff has training in working with diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings. She is warm, compassionate, understanding, and is culturally sensitive. This helps guide Dr. Shuff into forming an accurate diagnosis and medication plan for each individual patient. Services offered include medication management and/or individualized therapy.
Dr. Shuff is fluent in both English and Spanish.
