Dr. Deborah Fein is a psychiatrist in private practice providing mental health services in Los Angeles. She also is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and as well as a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Fein completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biopsychology. She completed her medical training at Western University of Health Science, where she became a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. As a medical student, she chose to pursue extra training in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona.

She then trained as a psychiatrist at the UCLA/San Fernando Valley Program while completing an elective in women’s mental health during her fourth year of residency. She mentored incoming residents throughout her four years of residency training and became the Chief Resident of the Outpatient Veterans Affairs Mental Health Clinic in her final year of training.

Her treatment is focused on providing a personalized experience, throughout the entire course of treatment. Patients are able to contact her directly, which helps to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes. Treatment recommendations are based on the best current research and clinical evidence available. Dr. Fein will take a medical history and may recommend labs, studies, or referrals to other providers, as appropriate, so that any complicating factors in the treatment can be properly addressed and treated. Psychiatric treatment may include medication management, psychotherapy, or both.
