Valerie Kipper, ASW

Valerie completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at UCLA. She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Education and Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, as well as a teaching credential in Health and Psychology. With that, Valerie served as a Health Educator and Program Coordinator at a public health clinic in northwest San Diego County. Valerie then returned to graduate school at San Diego State University. In 2004 she obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree focusing on direct practice with children and families, as well as an extra credential in school social work. Upon completing her training, Valerie did medical social work. Following that, Valerie spent several years as a school social worker at a high school in southeast San Diego. She has provided clinical supervision to graduate students in social work at SDSU and USC. Valerie has also trained dozens of educators and community members.  Valerie is here to help with any matters in the office that will help to support the care provided by each therapist and psychiatrist.
