Kristen Hendry, LMFT

Kristen Hendry is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing mental health services in Los Angeles to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and her Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. Kristen completed her clinical training at Maple Counseling Center, where she developed a strong foundation in psychodynamic therapy.

Kristen’s approach integrates psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and emotion-focused therapy, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. She specializes in working with eating disorders, and providing support to individuals and families involved in the recovery process. She also specializes in working with couples and families to strengthen communication and build emotional safety. Kristen integrates a family systems perspective when working with couples and families by exploring relational patterns and dynamics to develop more insight and connection within the system. 

Kristen believes that healing begins with learning to trust oneself. She creates a warm, collaborative space rooted in curiosity and compassion, supporting clients in reconnecting with themselves and making meaningful, lasting changes.
