Sarah Miller LCSW

Sarah Miller is an LCSW who provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Sarah completed her BSW and MSW at Missouri State University, with a focus on family systems. Sarah has a plethora of experience, having provided therapeutic services at UCLA medical center for twelve years prior to joining us at PVMH.  She is a board member for the non-profit Maximum Hope Foundation. She has a passion for helping people cope with the various stressors that can occur in life. Her goal is to help empower clients to build the life they want. Sarah practices with a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, existential, and humanistic therapy. She believes strongly in a holistic approach to treatment, ensuring that those who she treats are viewed as a whole person, not just their symptoms. Common issues to be addressed in therapy include depression, anxiety, bereavement, trauma work, coping with chronic and terminal illness, issues relating to fostering and adoption, family conflict, body image, and identity issues.  She provides individual, couples, and family therapy. Sarah believes that healing is possible for all. She will meet you wherever you are in your journey with compassion, empathy, and humor.  She will work collaboratively with you to create lasting change.
